Indian Badminton Star Kidambi Srikanth received the appointment as Deputy Collector of Guntur District. Srikanth has been appointed as Deputy Collector by the Andhra Pradesh Government last year, achieving four successive Super Series wins and international rankings. On Thursday, Chief Commissioner of Land Administration Anil Chandra Punita handed over the letter to the star shuttler at CCL office in Gollapudi. Srikanth said, “The state government is happy to appoint me as Guntur District Deputy Collector. Thank you for this. “

Last week Srikanth became the number one player for the first time. Srikanth, who has lost 7800 points in the 2017 Singapore series, has now lost the rankings. He missed four points as he scored heavily. Sai Prakash, who is the winner of the same tournament, lost 9200 points to be at 19th position. HS Pranny, who is not in the series, continues to rank 10th. Viktor Akselson (Denmark) again reached the top.
